Handcrafted vitki volva antler staff, handcrafted Norse pagan wand
I have crafted this staff using a white tail deer antler and a spiraled tree. The spiral was created by a vine growing on the tree as it grew.
It stands approximately 44 inches tall.
On the antler I have inscribed all 24 elder futhark runes and 5 names of Odin.
The names of Odin have been inscribed on the points. The names are Odin, Havi (high one), Grimnir (masked one), Allfather, and Harbard (gray beard).
I attached the antler to the tree trunk using tiffany technique with lead free solder. I shaped it into branches at the top and bottom.
The handle has been wrapped in brown leather.
Antlers have been used in rituals for over 10,000 years and they are tied to death and resurrection
